"MGS2 better then you expected or worse?"

Just write a one or two line sentance did metal gear solid 2 beat your expectations or was it a little (very little) bit of a disappointment?

12 hours? But I'm on 20 (and 4 minutes, 44 seconds) and I still haven't defeated those Metal Gear Rays yet!

Apparently Hideo made the player Raiden so that everyone could see how great Snake really is. Like at the end of the end of the game where you and snake are hand cuffed, snake is the only one tht manages to brak the cuffs to try and stop Liquid/Ocelot. And how he goes around helping people. This also shows ho young and rubbish Raiden is :-D

LOL, yeah he's a bit thick for my liking. How can an elite soldier not understand or know about devices that sniff scents given off by explosives......come on, even my grandma knows about that kind of stuff.

the game is much better than i expected i just hope it is'nt short, as for the character raiden i was a little dissapointed when you compare him with snake.

I still dont know if its better or worse then I expected. Most of the footage that was shown early on was from the early part of the game, so the Raiden part was kept secret until the American release.

I think that the story was amazing, but confusing. I think that to understand the story again, you would need to play through it at least twice with all of the cut scenes.

MGS2 has to be one of the best PS2 games so far. Story is amazing, graphics amazing, gameplay amazing. The cut scenes may be long some times but, they tell a story and keep you thinking. A 10/10 game.

I have been through it twice. But the second time I only went through the 'Big Shell' part of it.

I've almost gone through it for the 2nd time, should have it finished again before I goto bed tonight. Been collecting dog tags, taking pics, etc.

Be good if something else is earned to go into the next game this time round too like the digital camera I got.

Personally I think MGS2 exeeds MGS in every aspect. In the last 4 days I got to respect this game even more and now I feel that its one of the best games created for a while.

The story is worthy of a blockbuster movie and as you said Pro, the presentation and authenticity is spot on.

I have played 13 hours now, because I explore a lot and I am now on the bit where you have to swim with Emma on your back

lol.

Must admit, some parts of the game has left me bewildered too. :D
