I've downloaded some Snes (and MegaDrive) emulators onto the school networks. Everythings in place, only I want a standard set of games to get.

Although I can think of hundreds of great single player games, this being at school, I want the focus on multiplayer. It's only two player but that's fine.

So tell me, what are the Snes multiplayer classics?

I've got:
StreetFighter 2 Turbo
Bomberman 3 (one bomberman game is enough so don't recommend other ones)
Dragon Ball Z Hyper Dimension
Mario All Stars (for Mario 3's battle game)

I've even put Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World and Super Metroid on too, although I might take them off...

So what are your Snes (and MegaDrive) multiplayer recommendations.

And don't you DARE recommend me a single RPG!
Yes, Harvest Moon, Final Fantasy, Zelda, they're all classics, but they encourage people to hog the computer!

Thank you. :-)

On the SNES I'd reccommend Uniracers, which is probably the best unicycle sim ever to have appeared on a console.

For the Megadrive I'd go for Gunstar Heroes - which is just superb.

Mario Kart - definitley!!

And believe me, Biker Mice from Mars was a great multiplayer game too!
It may have looked pretty-simple and everything, but you had some great weapons and stuff for blowing-up your opponents along the way.

There's another game too, but I can't think what it's called....?
It looked like Speedball - with that top-down view and-all.
My mate had it, and I loved playing it.
Damn my feeble mind!

Maybe you should try Speedball too - if that was multiplayer.

And aren't you gunna get in any trouble for downloading stuff off the net from school??

Unless you have the adaptor to plug in a SNES controller dont bother getting any fighting games.

Contra 3 is excellent in 2 player.

Multiplayer classics?

Hmmm...Mario Kart, SF2, Super Tennis, Contra (Super Probotector) Secret of Mana (yes, it is multiplayer, in fact one of the greatest RPG's ever!), Mortal Kombat, Kiler Instinct, Super Bomberman, Super Tetris...to name but a few. I know more but I can't seem to remember any of them!

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Impressive control panel
I have to say that I'm impressed with the features available having logged on... Loads of info - excellent.
