Although I can think of hundreds of great single player games, this being at school, I want the focus on multiplayer. It's only two player but that's fine.
So tell me, what are the Snes multiplayer classics?
I've got:
StreetFighter 2 Turbo
Bomberman 3 (one bomberman game is enough so don't recommend other ones)
Dragon Ball Z Hyper Dimension
Mario All Stars (for Mario 3's battle game)
I've even put Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World and Super Metroid on too, although I might take them off...
So what are your Snes (and MegaDrive) multiplayer recommendations.
And don't you DARE recommend me a single RPG!
Yes, Harvest Moon, Final Fantasy, Zelda, they're all classics, but they encourage people to hog the computer!
Thank you. :-)
And Kirby's Dreamcourse is essential!
Only joking
Sensible Soccer (only if you don't like RPGs though)
And Super Metroid, oh yes.
FOOLS.
The best game ever is Secret of Mana.

Yer, was Maximum Carnage. There was also a sequel Seperation Anxiety. Though I doubt they'd work too well on a keyboard.
I'd say Mario Kart for Multiplayer.
And Earthbound for an RPG. :P
Seriously, Earthbound rules.
STUNT RACE FX!
then there is
Mario Kart (obviously)
Rock n Roll Racing
Mortal Kombat
F-ZERO!!
Killer Instinct
Damn, I've forgotten, I'll get back to you with the rest....
There was a Probotectopr game!?
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
I loved Probotector on the NES

That's not really saying much is it...
Thought it was a great game.
Final Fight games rock in multiplayer, oh and there's some Spiderman side scrolling fighter that rocked as well. Not sure how well these games will fair with the keyboard controls though...
