I went for a 'consultation' yesterday.
Putting on contact lenses was vile.
Vile I tell you. Vile.

Never had a lens fall out. If you have soft lenses (the most popular) the only problem you'll have is when they get too dry, particularly in an office. Just carry around some of the liquid, or in emergencies lick the lens (with a clean mouth of course!)

Try relaxing your face, I know it's difficult when you're putting something in your eye.
Look in a mirror, this will have the effect of widening your eye as you look at it and will help you to get the lens in the right place.
Wash the lens in your hand to make sure it's wet all through, then, when it's on your finger ready for your eye, put another 2 drops of liquid inside it, so that your eye retains some of the liquid and doesn't dry out so much.
Finally, buy monthly lenses so you don't have to go through this every day, only once a month. Alternatively, save for laser surgery.
I also reckon I'd be good at losing them - another problem!

That wouldn't be any good for me at work in the summer...
You just try wearing ski goggles with your glasses on for a full day without getting big red patches on your nose and the pain being absolutely excrutiating (sp).
People in office "What's wrong Goaty?"
*coughing* "Nothing...just thinking about Total Recall"

This made me jet tea across my keyboard.
Through my nose.
Cheers!
