Why are contact lenses so difficult to put on?

I went for a 'consultation' yesterday.

Putting on contact lenses was vile.

Vile I tell you. Vile.

Putting them in takes ages at first. Seriously. When I had mine, the first week it took me about half an hour to get them both in. Now it takes just a minute or two. A lot of it is getting used to not blinking when poking your finger in your eye...

even if your top eyelid is twitching beyond control even if you're holding it up?

just stick em in your eye like i did

Never knew putting in lenses could be so dirty.

methinks I'll be getting the soft, one day lenses for one month.

I've had a lens fall out, once. And it was my fault for rubbing my eyes over-eagerly. With practise you improve.
