Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, Ninto have mergede with Sega AND Capcom, for those of you not fluent in terms like "merged", then I shall explain, it has been revealed, that nintendo has bought up Sega AND Capcom, therefore, they will never make games for any other consoles then Nintendo's own. This announcement did not surprise me, but now Gamecubes future is indeed looking brighter.

The only slight thing is this.
Sony cannot be forced to hand over the cash just like that, their own lawyers, notorious for silence, will - if this is true - be ready and waiting to tie this up in so much red tape and appeals e.t.c. that it could take Nintendo a small eternity to get the cash - even if it did then Sony has spent tons on manufacturing e.t.c. and didn't make profit from the actual console for ages.

Wow, thats an interesting read.
So Nintendo (maybe) do actually have the rights to all things Playstation, and so will get all the money ever made from it? And with that, they are buying Capcom and SEGA.
Apprently Capcom really have shut down a few of their work places, moving to Nintendo HQ?

There already is something between Nintendo and SEGA.
It's called the Triforce group or whatever.
And with Capcom too, they said they like the GC's hardware, which is why they have 10 exclusive games for it next year.

Actualyl I can read, and decided to go off to google and see what else was on the net, try http://www.gamernewsnetwork.com/ for an interesting set of images which, if genuine, could prove there is something between Sega, Capcom and Nintendo, of course, once you look at the two images that are linked to, the truth lies in whether the original "Nintendo Difference" mosaic is genuine...
If it does happen then it's good for Nintendo, but to have any real effect they need the games to be exclusive - unlikely but you never know, and to make ALL games exclusive.
Considering Sega started doing multiformat because producing for just one console wasn't working financially, adn that Capcom have long term comittments to MS and Sony in the forms of Dino Crisis 3 and Resi Online, then it also makes it iffy.
What Nintendo really needs as a big announcement to help the GC right now, is a price drop to 99.99 or a £129.99 bundle with Sunshine or Starfox, maybe Eternal Darkness.
The objective of all 3 companies right now, is to get consoles into homes. Mergers don't do that, price drops do !
Incidentally, if Nintendo do somehow now own Capcom and Sega then everyone who ribbed MS for buying out Rare is going to be redfaced...or is it okay for Nintendo to do the same because they're a "nice" company ? :)
