Spam seems to have stopped even though I haven't altered any of the settings?
Hi Pete,
In time, persistent spammers are eventually found by their ISP and stopped - so that's what could have happened. Of course only to spring up somewhere different later if they can...
[s]Hmmm...[/s] You know you have quite configurable spam controls for your e-mail pro service, Pete?
You should try logging into your Freeola account and adjusting some of the settings there. It should help eliminate any remaining spam.
Just logged in and this is my email pro settings:
"Spam Checking Level: Level 5 (recommended), Spam to Folder"
... which I suspect is the default anyway!
Blacklist and Whitelist options exist and depend on 'user entry' ... so pete, you'll have to manually add the addresses that produce your 'spoof' email ... now that's 'configurable spam controls for you, except you could always move your silder from '5' to say '7' and see what happens ;¬)
Couple more Amazon order confirmations and a HM Revenue refund for me this morning...
