"round IDE cables"

Talking to a real nerd today, no idea why he started talking to me, but he got into a conversation with himself about round IDE cables, and how they let the air inside your pc flow better, well sounds reasonable, although IDE cables are pretty much paper thin anyway, anyway, does anyone know if they improve performance? or if they're just something a little different + are they the same price, i can't find any :)

Yeah, them floopy drives are expensive!

Scan today only, went there and got them so didnt pay delivery, got them through work so didnt pay VAT. Me was Happy Chappy.

Lol, it was a Scan today only I believe...and SR don't take kindly to posting links to cheaper places, understandably..

I Agree round IDE Cables look much better and definatly reduced the temperature in my computer! Though why anyone would want yellow ones is beyond me!

were the **** did you get them from at that price esspecially that FLOOPY drive hehe :D :D

Hm, so they do, "Improved thermal control and tidyness". Still always bought from kustom and will continue yto do so - sorry SR, didn't think there was any product overlap. I get the feeling a yellow cable would look a bit out of place, everything in the case is black/blue, except the mobo, which I'm changing soon anyway..
