Okay... we've all had different experiences with games. We've all found different games we've been addicted to, and we've all missed a great many releases too. Here's a chance to inform everyone else of the great releases they may've missed.

So... the purpose of this thread. Nominate a game.... preferably one that will be easy for people to get gold of (whether by rental, emulation, download, or whatever), and the rest of us will try it out.

I'd start the ball rolling by nominating the following:
UFO: enemy unknown (can be downloaded off the net somewhere)
QuazatronParadroid (get a C64/Spectrum emulator and rom)

Ah yeah, Harvest Moon.

It's a farming simulator. I'd be interested to see what Goatboy thinks of it. :0)

Not to everyone's tastes, but everyone has to play it.

Damn it... what was that western platformer shooter called? That was pretty damn cool, especially the arcade version.

Speaking of that, when I was into emulation big, they had *just* managed to emulate the game. Same with the Simpsons Arcade... there was something that made it difficult to do. I wonder if they've solved it now, so you can emulate it properly.

Still don't know the name though. Always get it mixed up with Gunstar Heroes... Western... Dah.

Played a bit of UFO. Built a second base, but got it a bit wrong!

Went on one mission against some aliens. It's fun, but they killed 3 of my men, not a good start!

LOL!!!

I just tried to start up quazatron on an emulator, and do you know what happened?

"R Tape Loading error"

Heh, unbelievable!

Still, I tried again and it worked this time.
Here's the emulator I'm using:
ftp.worldofspectrum.org/pub/sinclair /emulators/pc/windows/MTMW130b.ZIP

And here's quazatron:
ftp.worldofspectrum.org/pub/sinclair /games/q/Quazatron.tap.zip

I just found out - Quazatron is actually the sequel to Paradroid. Fascinating, huh?
