I agree (of course)
Star Wars is good too, but it's just 6 films.
Star Trek has lots of long series so you can relly get into then, the only ones I've watched are Voyager, Next Generation, Enterprise and Deep Space Nine, all of which I could get into easily even though they were half way through, and were every enjoyable.
Of course I haven't mentioned the books here, my brother has a load of the Star Wars Rogue Squadron books that I am just starting to read through, I've never read a Star Trek book.
