Here a question.

How long do people think the N64 has left to live?

With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

does the official expansion pack for the n64 do anything more than the unofficial ones. i dont know because for some strange reason the un-offical one is £10 cheaper.

does the official nintendo expansion pack do anything more and is it
1. better?
2.worse?
or 3.the same.

i am puzzled because i dont know which one to buy

If you own Zelda: Ocarina of Time, then these will give you a little bit of fun:-
When you are a child Link go to Goron's land and bomb the Big Goron, (the one that rolls around) when you have bombed him nine times he will grunt and the other Goron's will chase after you!!!
And also whatever age you are find a chicken, and hit it with your sword, or run over it with Epona, however you want, but when you do it will summon the other chickens and they will fly after you!! CHICKENS!!!!!!!!!!

someone must have this game, just because it's old, doesn't mean it's crap, it got a 91% rating from the OFFICIAL N64 Mag!!

more cheats: I want to tell you that I write them here because Special Reserve won't take them,

Antigrav - Ride upside down.
Banana - Difficult Controls.
Stealth - Become Invisible.
Magnify - Close Up View.

I hope someone eventually replies to this, it seems I am the only person that likes it!!

I know about 5 or 6 people who are discontent with their ps and would rather have an N64 but I only know one person who is not happy with their N64 and thinks the ps is better.

Why is everyone saying that the N64 is dead. Yes they haven’t sold as many units as the Playstation but that still doesn’t mean that it is dead. If you look at it in terms of quality games the N64 consistently comes out on top.
The main group of people who are saying that the N64 is a failure are Playstaton owners who seem to be forever talking about sales figures and hardly mention the great games available.
The simple fact is that most N64 owners I know don't really care if the Playstation is better than the N64. They just want to play games on their console rather than spend hours fighting it out in the forums with disgruntled PS owners who are no doubt realising that with Perfect Dark, Zelda Gaiden, Conker's BFD and Dinosaur Planet on the horizon, the N64 isn't quite as dead as they had hoped. The reason that they are insulting Perfect Dark is because they know that Goldeneye was good and they are afraid that Perfect Dark might actually be better than all the Playstation games put together. However, getting most Playstation owners to admit this would be harder than getting them to admit that Tomorrow Never Dies was worse than Goldeneye (yes, some people I know cling stubbornly to the idea that it is TND is superior despite most magazines saying the opposite).
Why can’t Playstation owners at least take into account that, yes, the N64 has fewer games but it has the same if not more quality titles than any of it’s competitors.

Sega and Sony over the past few years have copied loads of Nintendo's ideas. Analogue stick copied as dual analogue by Sony. Rumble Pak copied by Sony and Sega (Dreamcast). Idea to have pages for a memory card copied by Sega's dreamcast. Goldeneye the first game to feature proper AI copied by Sony (Metal Gear, Syphon Filter, Tommorrow Never Dies) and numerous PC games. Also the First console to feature a Graphics upgrade. The First Console to use Four Controller ports and the first game (Mario 64) where you could change the camera to many different angles

Just an quick question here. In your advert for game a day in the banner which often appears at the top of the screen, DK64 which comes with an expansion pack and Pokemon Stadium which comes with a transfer pack are pictured. I have already won on gameaday and requested Perfect Dark which is just a game by itself, however in the conditions of the offer, the term game does not include anything which comes with a non-game item. Just for the benefit of future Gameaday winners would they be able to claim either of these two games?

I was sitting in my room playing Goldeneye same as usual, when I had the suden urge to change games, as Goldeneye is starting to get a bit boring now we are only 21 days away from Perfect Dark, anyway I pluged in Extreme G into my favorite conole, the N64, (as if you didn't know), and switched the thing on!! well I havn't played this game since I swapped it with my mate for FIFA 98 last year, I wanted to play this game because it is the only one out of my selection of games that I have not completed! and I wanted some cool cheats for when I took it round my mates house.
these took me some time to get because I took the hard way on the stupid advanced level, so here they be-
type these in the name selection screen when you choose your bike:
because I know that most of you don't play this game because you think it's crap, but you can pick it up for less than a fiver, and I definatly recomend this game!! give it some time, but when you get to the good levels you will be happy you bought it!!

Wire- Play in line mode,
Roller- Everyone rides a boulder,
Arsenal- get rockets without pickups!
Fisheye- strange view, blurred but real cool!
Xtreme- super fast bikes,
81ggd5- all tracks and bikes,

these are not all the cheats there are but I'm stuck on the MELTDOWN level, because it's so damn hard, I keep falling into the lava, oh well i'll keep trying,

I would be really happy if the people that owned this game could tell be what they think of it.
