Here a question.

How long do people think the N64 has left to live?

With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

Soup Dragon to back up my argument that apparently it is possible to win twice. Go to the future of gaming forum and scroll all the way down to the second of June to the reply to an e-mail sent by Del the Dream by Ali@special reserve in which he did actually say it was possible to win multiple Prizes altough nobody has done so before.

The game will not be released over here but the sequel hopefully will. The sequel will be similar to Pokemon Stadium in the way that it will combine Harvest Moon 1+2 and make it into one game

Cart's don't cost all that much really, they cost close to £2 but really N64's games are so dear because places like eb, Virgin e.t.c. add money onto the prices of games to cover their overheads. Without this carts would be under half the price. Like the prices at special reserve. You would probably still complain if the games where £20 each and why should you complain because if you randomly chose 10 PSX games and 10 N64 games, their would be more classic N64 games than PSX.

yeah I know but they they don't make as much hype as RARE do there are 285 messages on the PD forum there isn't even a Zelda forum, don't know why, but there isn't. Anyway Nintendo make very good games like you said but they can'ty take all the glory for their machine most of it is based on Goldeneye, everyone with a N64 owns this game, if hey don't then they sold it because they were no good at it.

Rare might be the best game developers around and seeing as they have made Donkey Kong 64, BanjoKazooie, Goldeneye and now Perfect Dark I won't deny that they are; but Nintendo aren't all that bad either.
Here are a few:
Super Mario 64 - Best ever platform game
Mario Kart 64 - Amazing multi-player
Zelda - Best game ever
and of course there is Pokemon which has taken over almost every kid's life.

Dreamcast rule?
As in the console which cannot even match the Playstation or the N64 even though it is about 5 years more recent. Face it Dreamcast games are just old PSX games updated with slightly better graphics.

Nintendo have got a lot of respect and media recently because of their N*1 game producer, RARE, this company has made brilliant game after brilliant game, it's unbeleivable that one company can make so many people happy, They made their greatest hit when they released Goldeneye, this even made the playstation owners want to buy a N64, they also made DKR (Diddy Kong Racing) which is so underated because everyone thinks it is made for children, then N64's sales started to fall dramatically, there is no main reason for this sad period of time as Nintendo has and is such a good company and will make consoles for the population as long as they can, now we see a new era of gaming with the new enhanced gameplay which is accessed with the Expansion pak, sold for £25 which is very good at SR, anyway RARE have now hit the sceen with a new powerful sequel to their top seller Everyone with half a brain knows that perfect dark is going to sell out every shop for the next few months it has included new technologies and crazy ideas, this game is the first N64 games to include talking characters and video sequences! new improved computer AI, there is too much to mention, the next games to be talked about are Conker's BFD(Bad Fur Day) and Dinosaur World, both of these games use 546mb carts, which is also untried for the N64 and should show a new standard for Nintendo's games, these three games are the most waited for N64 titles, and are all made by Nintendo's best buddies RARE, everyone is very grateful to them for bringing them at least two great games: Goldeneye and perfect Dark, this company is the favorite choice for any N64 owner, so I really don't need to write this letter as most of you already know this, but we owe them alot as they have proved to the lesser minded PS owners the N64 capabilities and Goldeneye was not even the full capabilities of the n64!!
When PS owners see what they are missing out on then there will be a calm silence............

But the good games like PD and Goldeneye are the same price as the bad ones like extreme G and Forsaken, the worse games drop very quickly in price but the better ones stay at the same price for a very long time, Goldeneye is £20+ from SPECIAL RESERVE!!! playstation games are very good and include talking characters and very good video clips but you can complete any game except FF7/8 in less than a weekend that is the biggest difference many N64 owners think that the PS has bad graphics, you are wrong but all games are very slow and badly designed.

People complain about the price of N64 games, but think about it-when you buy an N64 game you know you are going to get at least a month of gaming pleasure. That is because N64 games developer (particularly Rare and Nintendo themselves) put DEPTH into games. That is why they cost more. Everyone knows the saying "you get what you pay for" and its true. A lot of Playstation games are shoddy and have as much depth as a paddling pool. How many games are there on the Playstation that as soon as they are released are forgotton. I have asked Playstation owners what really GREAT games are there on the Playstation and they haven't had an answer. But when I ask an N64 owner he will instantly say Zelda, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark etc.
So stop complaining N64 owners! You are getting some great games even if they cost a bit more.

Since you're writing here, clearly you know about Speccy's prices.
There are top of the range N64 games cheaper than the huge catalogues of PS titles and Dreamcast games, so there's nothing to get upset about, and by writing here about how Speccy's prices are so great, you'd be preaching to the converted, all well and good, but no use to anyone.
