Now, I was a little annoyed with SR getting rid of the gaming threads.

So please share your Championship Manger experiences in here.

Currently i am Sheffield Wednesday in the year 2030. This is the furthest I have ever got in any champ man game! THe other ones used to stop after 2026. Anyone know when it does end? If ever?

Anyways, whats the most you have sold someone for? Mine is £88M. Well chuffed with that sale. It was one of my home grown players as well. Came through the reserves and was a great hit.

I've turned Hartlepool into cup killers in just the first season. 3-1 down to Aston Villa after the first leg in the League Cup. Second leg at home, Hartlepool win 4-1 to win 5-4 on aggregate.

I love this game.

I decided to try and step up to an Italian challenge. I was Chievo and, well, tried my hardest, and to my shock I finished 4th, getting me in the Champions League. I also got to the final of the Italian cup. I have bought star player such as Diego Tristian and Alex (the Brazilian one), amazing.

p.s. search for Giorgos Pomaski as a coach or assistant manager. His stats are out of this world.

i was responsible for getting 2 teams relegated but didn't actually manage them. After seeing Francesco Totti banging in the goals and Walter Samuel stopping anyone else getting any i thought they'd help my AC Milan a great deal and Martin Laursen and Walter Samuel is one hell of a central defence. After Surprisingly getting Totti for only 20Million Samuel became unhappy at his sale making it very easy for me to sign him for only 12 Million. Anyway i played them the second last game of the season which they needed to win to get away from the relegation zone or at least have Bologna lose. Well i beat Roma 3-0 and Bologna beat Sampdoria 2-1 meaning Roma were consigned to Serie B.
At the same time i had bought Gianluigi Buffon from Juventus. After 6 games it was time to play them and i noticed something - They hadn't brought a replacement which meant that i had a 15 year old keeper with no experience trying to stop the might of Ronaldinho, Shevchenko and Totti. 4th game of the season left and i utterly thrashed them 6-0 to my delight.

I nearly got two teams relegated in one season.

I was the Huddersfield Town manager, and winning the League Cup was the worst thing that could have happened to me. My league formed severely dropped, and the following season I started really badly. Every time I started to pick myself up, a European fixture would come along, and it would screw with everything.

As such, after 32 games I applied for the job at Arsenal, who were in 16th place, I was in 18th place.

Anyway, I got the job with 4 games left, but Arsenal were now in 17th place.

I lost my first game, dropped to 18th place, in the relegation zone. With three games left I had 34 points. I drew at Huddersfield, but was still in 18th place, Huddersfield were in 19th.

I got a win at home to Leicester though, a tense game, after going 2-0 up they pulled it back to 2-2, but I got a late winner. I was on 38 points, and out of the relegation zone.

Huddersfield were down by now, Wolves were on 36 points.

Their last game was home to West ham, mine was away to Man Utd. I lost. Stayed on 38 points. Wolves drew, after being behind, so ended on 37 points, and I was safe. Lowest points total I've seen for a club not relegated though.

I don't know what the hell Wenger was up to as Arsenal manager. He hasn't got any decent defenders. Well there was one, but he had a long term injury. The team consists of attacking midfielders and forwards. Rubbish 21 year old goalie too, who has now left.

Need to spend big money on a quality keeper, and a load of decent defenders, or next season Arsenal are going down.

That guy that plays for Swindon has reached the age of 87...

PLayed 42 games for them last season and averaged 7.71. Bloody amazing i tells ya.

He says he is gonna retire at the end of each season but continues to just carry on and on and on...Reckon he'll reach 100?

Mind you, there are a few dodgy things going on in my game now. I had Marseille in my Champs leage group in the first and second stage, that aint supposed to happen is it? Also got drawn with another English team in the champs league group stage...

Oh sweet lord...

Just broke my transfer sale record. £93M for a young Italian Striker i bought for £750K two seasons ago. He won Fifa world player of the year in his first season for me and won FIFA + world player of the year in 2nd season. No doubt clubs would play silly money for him.

So i transfer listed him for £30M and bids started flying in. I just kept playing them against each other by cancelling one of thier bids and letting someone else come in. Went on for quite a while!

Heres the screen grabs...

Rather surprised it was FC.Koln that got him in the end...

what club. By 2 decent centre backs and always have a good defensive central midfielder. Those are the 3 main players to be successful. You can build the team around them.

I tried buying him! He said he has absolutely no interest in joining Sheff Wednesday. I've just won the champs league 3 years in a row...

The guy must have lost his marbles at the tender age of 81...

Also found a 61 year old Argentine still playing. Although he did accept my contract he didnt get a work permit :(
