Now, I was a little annoyed with SR getting rid of the gaming threads.

So please share your Championship Manger experiences in here.

Currently i am Sheffield Wednesday in the year 2030. This is the furthest I have ever got in any champ man game! THe other ones used to stop after 2026. Anyone know when it does end? If ever?

Anyways, whats the most you have sold someone for? Mine is £88M. Well chuffed with that sale. It was one of my home grown players as well. Came through the reserves and was a great hit.

Wish this game would hurry up and come out.

Oh and its the O3/04 season in my game, any ideas?

Im into my Third Season now with Man City, and i've just won the Charity Shield and Super Cup, but the problem is, I don't have any Premiership Fixtures at all, only UEFA Cup ones. And its September now!

When will I get my Premiership fixtures?

Well so far in my Swansea game I have won 2 (including giving Bansley a 5-0 tonking away from home in the cup) drawn 2 and lost 1, the main problem I have is that I have a very small squad so I never get to put out a fully fit staring 11, oh and a pidling 50k to spend.

To beat the transfer deadlines, a few weeks before the deadline (Or at the beginning of the season) check:

1- Who is on bad form in your team
2- Who is cheap AND talented
3- Who fills weak links in your team (eg Replace Emile Heskey who spends more time on his backside than the ball with someone who can ACTUALLY stay on his feet AND score eg Defoe)

This is a good way to do things so you don't waste time a day from the deadline.

i usually make all my transfers way before the TD. Only if there's an injury is the only time you'll see some last second buying from me

I'm crafty enough to pick up most players for free. Only rarely do I splash out, and when I do, it's usually on a player who's going for much less than what I think they're worth.

This is why my Man Utd team had almost £200mill in the bank at the end of one season, only for £130 mill to go out on shareholder dividends.

Dunno, but I can wait 5 months to get a player.

Unless I really need them.
