How many shops have you been in this Christmas and seen PS2 games being sold for £29.99 or less. Comet, Dixons, PC World they are all at it and the reason they can afford to sell PS2 games at that price is the fact they can offset the price against the many more sales they will get for that particular title.

Then ask yourself how many Xbox and GC titles you see for these sort of prices Sony make gaming affordable hell they even have Platinium games that are £20 or 2 of £30 in a lot of places.

Nintendo don't seem to want to be competetive. They have lost this Christmas because they didn't try as hard as Microsoft or even Sony. In the long run they are doing nothing to claw the industry back from Sony. Sony are the name, they are reinforcing it with sassy branding and advertising and Nintendo aren't even second place any more.

They could have come out all guns blazing this Christmas like Microsoft did. Doubtless Nintendo could've produced a GameCube + any one game free offer for £130, and driven it home with a decent marketing drive, lost a bit on advertising, broken even on the console yet made a fortune on the increased software royalties produced by the increased size of the GameCube user base. But no, they leave their console to die at the hands of a furiously competitive Microsoft, and spend about £50 marketing games they won't release here for 3 months to 10 year olds who won't be able to afford them until next Christmas.

Way to go Nintendo.

As I said, your point being? You said PS2 games are cheaper. So? It's been out for over two years. If they weren't cheaper, I'd be surprised. So you really made no worthwhile point at all: you just stated the bloody obvious.

Hey everyone, night follows day. Bet you didn't know that?

You obviously have more money than sense that would explain a lot though.

More like games that have poor frame rates because they are basically PS2 conversions for example we all know how good NFS is on the GC and Xbox.

There's nothing wrong with pricing but they do really need to sort themselves out in Europe there's no doubt about that. They started off well but things have been going down the toilet recently, you don't see other comapny's advertising games that aren't gonna be out for a good 3 months.
