I'm not sure if this has been done before in here (probably) but I just wanna know which 3 albums you'd nominate as your top 3 for the year 2001 (in order)??
Remember, each album must have been released in 2001, not before. We'll probably see a new topic soon asking for the bottom 3 of 2001! Anyway, here's my 3:

1. System Of A Down - Toxicity

2. Staind - Break the Cycle

3. Disturbed - Down with the Sickness

How about you???
And incase you're wondering, they don't have to be under one particuar catergory, they can even be mixed.

Who cares, to be honest? Most of us probably download our music, and buy the ocassional album.

Toxicity is a great album. Its just a bit frantic sometimes.. I find Lateralus has slightly more depth.

But thats just my opinion.

Hmmm...seems the Tool album's quite popular, I did hear good things about it. But no-one else has gone for System of a Down?? Maybe soon, I know one of the staff members likes them!

In no order (as I've only just got the Tomahawk CD) -

Tomahawk - Tomahawk
Kittenz and thee Glitz - Felix da Housecat
An Education in Rebellion - The Union Underground

Though 2001 wasn't that great for albums.....

It might have been actually, but i'm not sure cuz it was released so long ago. But if it wasn't, I nominate...

3.) American Hi-Fi - American Hi-Fi

That's all I can think of at the moment, and i'm sure that was released in 2001.
