I'm not sure if this has been done before in here (probably) but I just wanna know which 3 albums you'd nominate as your top 3 for the year 2001 (in order)??
Remember, each album must have been released in 2001, not before. We'll probably see a new topic soon asking for the bottom 3 of 2001! Anyway, here's my 3:

1. System Of A Down - Toxicity

2. Staind - Break the Cycle

3. Disturbed - Down with the Sickness

How about you???
And incase you're wondering, they don't have to be under one particuar catergory, they can even be mixed.

I know he wasn't in the position to, but in an ideal world Jason Newsted would have kicked Ulrich out of the band. He was always far more metal.

Greatest picture I saw of hetfield was him standing in the middle of a desert with no top on, a pair of leather trousers sporting a leather coated Explorer. They even had fans blowing at him to make him look more metal.

Now if that isn't rock I don't know what is.

P.S. This is not man love, the power of rock supersedes all things sexual.

Hetfield is cool.
He even went into a drying out clinic.

Now THAT is rock and roll.
Not wearing tiny shorts and pulling stupid faces and standing up to drum.

And gurning at his 'Lars-Cam'.

What a t****r. Very short too.

Hetfield...now he growled at my friend at Jools Holland. Heh heh I knicked his plectrum at the end of the show though..

Yes he is.

Listen to their live stuff, he can't keep a beat worth anything, and uses his toms so much to disguise his lack of ability at anything other than eating and wearing skimp shorts.

I've no problem with downloading stuff. But personally if I like a band, I'll want the album. A nice sleeve, something to sit on your shelf, etc. Plus even if just a little of the money feeds back to the bands I like, I'm happy.

Lars Ulrichs wife told me off once for standing infront of her at their performance on Jools Holland.

Yeah, you shouldn't deprive the portly Danish drummer of his food money.

Dog-faced drummers need their pies.

Thats naughty. Shame on you.

Lars Ulrich will be round your house later asking for his $2 before shoving a carbon signiature series drumstick firmly up your a**e.

Music killer.
