how bad does it look.
i couldnt believe the sheer lack of quality of the graphics.
i think htey are only lsightly better than a ps2.
The gamecube is the right way to go i know for a fact now that i have seen all three consoles.
The GameCube is graphically the superior of all consoles.
The launch titles are also very impressive and fun games (i have five of them !)
miyamotos Pikmin is my newest and now favourourite game as is smash bros melee a nintedo lovers must.

Nintendo have done something special this time people be ready for it when it comes.

What warrants a fact to be just that.
if you think the x-box games are graphically better wheres your proof.
You can quote polygon statistics etc but if i look at two games and i decide the gamecube in my opinion is graphically better then in my mind it becomes fact.
the two are linked.

i must say i agree with you dd , i was watching a video of galleon on the xbox , it looked ok , but in places looked flat , and the graphics were very square. also it slowed down in places

Then i watched the same footage on a different video for the gamecube , the graphics were still square (maybe they are ment to be ) but it didn't look as flat , especially on this one part where the main guy is traversing the ceiling , it looked much better on the cube. And their wasn't a hint of slow down.

so in this case gc came out on top , it was only a demo mind, so the real thing should be better in both cases.

im sorry but maybe its just ive seen all the bad titles but the cube has impressed me so much.
I thought that at least project gotham would be good but it plays a bit too slwo , the cars look great fair does but the backgrounds are terrible.

i kept my opinion reserved until i saw the x-box running and i swear i laughed when i did.
i had expected something at least graphically on par with the cube. It may well be because i havent got a game to directly compare the console with i.e i dont have a racing game to compare gotham racing too but what i have for the gamecube it does much better then what the x-box does with its games.
i wanted halo to be good, it to me was teh x-boxs one saving grace i saw the e3 footage and was impressed and waiting. i saw footage of the x-box demo disk and i was sorely dissapointed can anyone say 1 gig pc with a geforce 2.
because that was its equivalent.
maybe the full gamne will be different but i have my doubts.
Everything else on the demo disk was of poor standard (azurik looked good but there was no in-game footage so it means nothing)

project gotham bye the way or gt3 hmmmm GT3 looks much better.


The whole point about being objective is that you weigh up the strengths of each console and the weakness's and in a fair manner decree the winner.
So dont cry if the cube comes out on top and i want to tell people that.

I haven't seen an xbox in "person" but with so may claims of the most powerfull graphics chip on the planet and 3 times the power of any other console does make me laugh, The graphics are impressive but nothing the gamecube can't do and that microsoft idiot said they "have the best games by far" which is the biggest lie after Bill Clinton's :-D
