how bad does it look.
i couldnt believe the sheer lack of quality of the graphics.
i think htey are only lsightly better than a ps2.
The gamecube is the right way to go i know for a fact now that i have seen all three consoles.
The GameCube is graphically the superior of all consoles.
The launch titles are also very impressive and fun games (i have five of them !)
miyamotos Pikmin is my newest and now favourourite game as is smash bros melee a nintedo lovers must.
Nintendo have done something special this time people be ready for it when it comes.

The thing i hate about the X-box the most is all it is, is a PC in a box!
Do any of you know about what happened at an X-box expo in the states? what happened was Gates was showing off the power of the X-box as normal and it crashed and had a Blue screen of death windows style error (Sorry thats just the way i think of it) which he then claimed was just to show that the X-box could have the occasional error or two.
When i heard of this on Game-Network i just started laughing.
I have to admit the graphics are good and gameplay Halo is so cool! but due to various things such as windows, Pentium 3 processors and hard drives making it too much like a PC it put me right off.
Whats next Microsoft Word? Powerpoint? Access Maybe?

Kinda like Albert's controller argument. He compared all the controllers without actually using each one for a good length of time! STUPID IDEA!!!
Plus I take it you haven't played on an X-Box for an extended amount of time!
I have, and I think it's an alright console. I think that if someone was going to offer me a PS2 or an X-Box, i'd go for the X-Box!

this post was initially made after i first saw a running x-box for the first time and as such my opinions were exagerated a few days later and a little more tested has not led me to change the the basic non-exagerated ideas.
i think the cube is graphically better and that x-box has yet to show me what ive been told it can do.
i may yet change my mind when we have fully playable games.
The possiblilty we've been discussing at work is that they could be beta versions.
the game with teh motor boat that blows everything up looked ok but its effects simply reminded me of a pc.
plus the water effects were not as dynamic as they were in wave race but they are different games...)
My OPINION is that so far it has yet to impress and i want it to because im a great fan of fps'ers and halo is a game i want and at the mo i can get it only on the accursed boX!
