Go to your local SR and have a look at the x-box.
now if youve made it back alive because you weren't rushed to hospital because you were laughing so much tell me...
how bad does it look.
i couldnt believe the sheer lack of quality of the graphics.
i think htey are only lsightly better than a ps2.
The gamecube is the right way to go i know for a fact now that i have seen all three consoles.
The GameCube is graphically the superior of all consoles.
The launch titles are also very impressive and fun games (i have five of them !)
miyamotos Pikmin is my newest and now favourourite game as is smash bros melee a nintedo lovers must.

Nintendo have done something special this time people be ready for it when it comes.

Your right it's not "God out of a console box" as you put it. But it is a nice piece of kit with some decent titles hosted on it.

As for my statement regarding it's worthwhile in the long-run. By that, I meant I haven't got to keep going out and buying add-on's so I can play such and such a game, since it's all consolidated in one place. A talking point that has come into light more recently with Sony and Final Fantasy 11, which requires both an additional Hard-Disk and Modem.

£300 is a lot of money, but so was the PlayStation 2 when that hit our shores. Yes, the GameCube is cheaper than the XBox, but at the end of day you look the games on both, you pay your money and you take your choice.

what about a lead to connect up your etherent card to the line etc
(i dont know if one come in the box or you use what comes with cable)

dont make out as if its the god of console out of the box.
i think also this online business is completely over rated.
The dreamcast had online capabilities.
You dont go out and buy that because of it though.

Yeah, I'll lay out £300 beans for an XBox since I haven't got to go out and pick up any additional periphals to play online or to save, which to be honest, annoys the hell out of me.

Which console isn't? Well, apart from the PS2, all consoles utilise PC architecture.

Again, so did the PS2 when that was showcased, it's not unheard of for a console to crash at a showing, since I imagine that they're earlier versions.

When i heard of this on Game-Network i just

I have to admit the graphics are good and gameplay Halo is

Each to their own, but I'm buggered if I'm laying out £20 for a memory card time and time again. Save it to disk. Oh, and the fact that the Xbox allows you to compile your own soundtracks is another little added bonus. Gimmicky, but nice none-the-less.

So I take it you've played these games in a shop or something? Plus you played that motor boat game. That game is PANTS to the extreme!!!

Go play Dead or Alive 3 or Amped! Then you will see that the X-Box actually is quite a good console! Plus there's a difference between playing a game in some spelly shop, and sitting at home comfortably playing one!
