"Pro Evolution 2"

At last gamers other than the PS2 sort will get a chance to play the greatest football game ever made! Details are scarce at the moment but Cube-Europe say that the game will be released this year. What do you think about the game? Are there any updates on this news and what will be added to the GameCube version? I am very excited about finally getting a chance to play the Pro Evolution series once again after 5 years of being deprived from the PSONE versions. Any news, information and updates that I find about the game I will post in here but I would appreciate it if you would do the same. So, who else is looking forward to this one?

Basically it's a port of Winning Eleven 6: Final Evolution

Thats the one with Ravenellie and Paul Ince on the front am I right? I have that in my PSONE collection and it is an amazing game! No news yet on Pro Evolution 2 and the release date although one site thinks the summer for Europe?

ISS98 is the greatest football game ever made.

Apart from Virtua Tennis which is sitting proudly beside me I think sports games nearly always end up as failures. However Pro Evolution 2 is going to be one of my major purchases this year and I can't wait :) Do IGN have an updated preview of it yet? I am going to go and see if I can find information on this game and I will post it in here.

The games actually gonna be an updated version of Pro Evo 2 that's also coming out on the Ps2 as well.

The main update is it's going to be online compatible, details are scarce at the moment but I'm guessing there'll be some kind of online league type arrangement.

I feel slightly guilty playing football games.

Especialy when i have a football.
