Yes indeed. You might want to take a look at these existing GameCube titles:
Mario Party 4
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Starfox Adventures
Star Wars Jedi Knight II (X-Box version also available)
Die Hard: Vendetta (Possibly, opinions vary)
Oh, and then there's these upcoming beauties:
X-Box:
BC
Fable
Star Wars: Galaxies
Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic
GameCube:
The Legend Of Zelda: Winds Of Takuto
Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II
1080: Avalanche
Wario World
And then you want a bit of cash left over for those other titles later on, such as Capcom's 5, Deus Ex 2, Halo 2, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, etc.
I picked up a copy of Wave Race: Bluestorm tonight, my expectations weren't too high which is good because the game exceeds what I originally expected. Hype kills games off and I am trying to play down Eternal Darkness before I make the purchase because otherwise I will feel disappointed. Halo lived up to my hype, Shenmue's 1+2 lived up to my hype, Splinter Cell lived up to my hype and so did Deus EX and bar that I have been uterly disappointed with games that I have had high hopes for. Thankfully Wave Race was a game that I knew would be good but I decided to let the game do the talking and thus far I have been very pleased! Tricks are hard to pull off and as of yet I am finding it difficult to settle with a particular characters style and balance but I have plenty of time to figure that out.
I will pick up Eternal Darkness and Mario Sunshine as currently released GameCube titles but then I am going to pre order Metal Gear Solid Substance, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball, Metroid Prime, Skies of Arcadia and Resident Evil Zero. Sometime this year I will pick up a second hand PS2 as well because my PC is very tricky when it comes to the GTA games and I don't want to miss out ona very fun and entertaining series. For now though I am happy with my Xbox and GameCube and my decision to keep my GameCube for exclusive titles has so far paid off and it has paid very well. What a month March is though for both the Xbox and GameCube, I take it most will be picking up the games I will? Or are there some I have missed?
Having said that before I got my Xbox I emailed Microsoft asking about a price cut and the woman who replied said not for a long time... 2 days later I got my Xbox and the same night they announced a price cut and the 2 free games offer! How do these people become employed? Unless of course she was told to say that...
