I have been summoned for Jury Service.
I don't want to, but there is nothing you can do about it.
You can ask to defer, but they have refused me.

I hope none of you are appearing in court from Feb 18th onwards.

Tell them you're a Jehovah's Witness. Or a Tory.

LOl, now that is a stellar idea.

You have to turn up each morning and they tell if you're needed.
If after two weeks you are not selected, then you can go.

If you get selected, then you stay for as long as the case lasts.

My dad got summoned for that but he got out of it. Just rang them up and said that unfortunately, he was on holiday on every week they tried to put him on - they got fed up in the end and quit asking.

What about your album? You'll probably get some case like Fred West and end up having years off work. Tell 'em you're rascist.

Just hope the case lasts for ages, then you get paid for falling asleep all day.
