The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
For any newbies (bless em!) and anyone else here who is not sure about what goes on in this chat forum, what would you longer serving guys and gals want to see change in the forum?
Two points of my own are below:
.No net speak.
Newbies, please note that writing English will get you noticed more and will probably improve your own English skills if you are still at school.
.Relevance.
The chat forum is for chat, yes, but perhaps we should stick to chat about games or about members/items from ukgames. Asking what people's favorite films or music are is not really suitable when there is an apt enough forum for that already.
So, what changes would YOU like to see?

maybe a member of staff should read around the forum and deleted all the irrelevant or spam syle posts. but under certain rules to protect against a tyrant.

thats would be spelling actually, you will find out that grammer is the way sentences are put together :-P

not a bad idea, i do think that some of the regular's have been particularly rude, since i became a newbie, especially in my topic about Rainbird maybe because the younger ones havn't got a clue about what games iam talkign about?
Maybe we should have a grammer rating system, so if our grammer is good we get points and if it is bad we get less points until the points go below zero. I think this will help people check there grammer properly before they post.

If you have access to Word or Works, or some other word processor on your computer, you could write your longer posts on there and then paste them across. I do this sometimes.
Oh, and cheeky regulars make this place what it is (although, it kind of depends on HOW cheeky they get...)
