Swordspines Entertainment, Grix's Company, are branching out into GBA software, and are currently trying to recruit potential young talent for work on new titles.

We're looking for people who possess any of the following skills:

1) Programming
Any language, but you may need to learn new ones - especially if you don't happen to know C++ already ;)

2) Graphical design
Must be good with 2D graphics, and/or animation

3) Sound Artists
Able to make nice tunes and sound effects. Obviously.

4) Designers.
Level designers/game designers. Must be creative, and know what makes a good game. Applicants for this post will be vetted by Grix (hehe).

5) Testers.
Must be able to play games. Need two hands, and/or telekenisis. Must be able to give good feedback.

6) Miscellaneous
If you think you've got skills which might be helpful, and they're not listed above, just let us know what you can do.

Chuck your name in here if you're interested in this:

Well, I have been hard at work with designs and concepts. The one I have taken forward will (hopefully) be loved by all of you. At the moment I am drawing sketches and getting a small site together to just describe it...

.... lets just say, its bloody original, and very very very cool.

Ok thats me done. Pictures on way soon.

Venombyte, got any recommendations for a C++ book that can take me in the direction of games programming?

(This thread is going to have to be popped a hell of a lot with the new campaigns)

I wouldn't mind being a graphical designer and games tester. I have some great logo design products etc (Adobe Photoshop 6), and I think that I could make some great logos and general things for it. I also have a lot of time, so I could test the game in and out. Get back to me. Cheers!

If you're planning on GBA testing, you'll need a device that lets you download GBA roms onto a rewritable flash memory cartrige.

There's no way Venombyte is going to ship out new carts for every test! :-D

I'd also like to do games testing. Y'see, my GBA is in perfect condition, and with but nought a smidgen of dust on the screen.
