Swordspines Entertainment, Grix's Company, are branching out into GBA software, and are currently trying to recruit potential young talent for work on new titles.

We're looking for people who possess any of the following skills:

1) Programming
Any language, but you may need to learn new ones - especially if you don't happen to know C++ already ;)

2) Graphical design
Must be good with 2D graphics, and/or animation

3) Sound Artists
Able to make nice tunes and sound effects. Obviously.

4) Designers.
Level designers/game designers. Must be creative, and know what makes a good game. Applicants for this post will be vetted by Grix (hehe).

5) Testers.
Must be able to play games. Need two hands, and/or telekenisis. Must be able to give good feedback.

6) Miscellaneous
If you think you've got skills which might be helpful, and they're not listed above, just let us know what you can do.

To those that happened to stumble across what happened last time...

We're more prepared now. Last time, I ended up suddenly really busy, couldn't really get everyone in one room at once, and basically then forgot all about it in time for exams. Trust me, this won't happen this time. Design is going to take a while firstly, but in that time, the programmers can get learning.

Oh, and basically, in two factions: I'm kinda head of design, and Venom's head of programming and making it work. Good good.

We are? Ah, that's why you kept pestering me about it! ;0)

"and are currently trying to recruit potential young talent for work on new titles."

Good start posting it on Fog Chat, then. :0)

"1) Programming

Nothing really to add to this. Programming is bloody hard, so don't apply for this unless you really know you love to do it.

"2) Graphical design

And a degree of talent when it comes to detail, too... remember, the GBA's resolution isn't that big, so I doubt you'll be able to see a pen in someone's pocket.

"3) Sound Artists

This is something I'm desperate to find myself... I think "musician" should come under here as well. If you want to write songs and have a good idea of the emotion in music, apply for this please!

Git. :0) Seriously though, I'm not going to be easy going when it comes to this. If you don't impress me, no way are you doing this.

"5) Testers.

Yeah, communication skills are a must here, as said. You also should have played a hell of a lot of games, and be pretty decent at them. You should know what's fun, and what isn't.

I wonder what a Gaffer is. I think that's to do with film though, isn't it? I'm going to go look it up.
