Play magazine gave Metal Gear Solid 2 77%, now I don't normally make short topics but i would like a Playstation fan of some description to justify this????

Why has the most anticipated game of the year recieved such a low score???

Mm, Im not sure what to get now.

PS2 looks good. But PS3 is in the making so I will only get a year or 2 out of it. Not exactly great for £200

X-Box, standerd internet connection and hard drive. Looks good, but its massive.

GameCube, Sext litle thing. Wth loads of game coming out, but its gonna be the latest arrival of them all :o(

But, I need to play on an X-Box then a GameCube, to see which one really rules.

Well how funny that is, because nearly all the gaming types at my school have either a PS2 or are going to get an Xbox. There's only 2 people who want a GameCube.

That's OK, I don't mind them, it makes me feel more involved. I've got the longer (*ahem*, massive) demo and it's better than expected. It's also the first game on the PS2 to score a Perfect 10 with OPS2. Just as a matter of interest, what did Edge give it and what mag was this?

I played the Demo earlier...its a flippin joke. I was watching the intro for about 10 minutes. Its good an all how they are trying to make it more like a Film, but this just takes the biscuit...

Pal version has option to turn cut-scenes off though dont it?

i made this post a while ago and the reason is due to the very long cutscenes, some lasting up to 10 minutes apparantly, often going through same sections time and time again and also constant interference in the game and how it keeps stopping and starting. other than that the game is as good as expected. it's just being able to actually play the game instead of watching the game

Apparently it is still Metal Gear but the game was rushed giving itself a 77% rating, i myself was stunned, thank god Shigsy has made Zelda look weird and might even be short and sweet, gamers all moaning about it... no hype then BAM!
