Nintendo Of Europe originally said in a press release that the GameCube launch date would be announced on February the 5th at the Millia gaming show, but now it looks like it's been pushed forward.
Strong industry rumors suggest Nintendo will now be announcing the date on Monday. In fact, Jasper Segers, owner of Dutchgaming.net claims Nintendo Benelux confirmed this to him.
Senior NOE spokesperson Kimo Sabe has told Computer And Videogames that every rumored launch date so far has been wrong but despite that, the site is speculating April 5 and May 3.

I was reffering to the nintendogamecube-europe one, which is the official site... the original news item came from TVG, but oddly enough, it's the exact same news item which has appeared on the official site this morning both online and in and official PDF press release from ninty!!...

Tyla, what I think you mean is that this news item is official (ie, Nintendo have released a statement on their actual official website saying the release date will be announced on monday.)
The web-site is totally unofficial, and is owned by tvgmedia. Like I said, I used to work for them!

It is an official AFFILIATE (which means that the ninty site has a link to it, and it has a link to the ninty site), but so too do dozens of other web sites

Yep, the site is live now. It has a countdown to the announcement.
It's very similar to the one they used for the US release, only with the US one they had a different little game on their every week leading up to the launch. We can access them all now.
