eh eh?

The bloody thing keeps freezing up every 10 minutes or so and sometimes comes back to life and others I need to restart computer

I hate it and have shouted abuse at it

So why eh?

It started after restoring computer to factory settings... then I updated to Explorer 6 to see if that would help but it doesn't

Buy some Antifreeze from Halford's. Maybe that would help.

I had a problem with Ie freezing with my old computer. I found that rebooting up once did the trick. Suffice to say my A7N8X delux is brill and has no such problems

Have you only got one window open?
Maybe you are trying to do too many things at once.
All those popups can cause problems.
And filling your hard drive with forks doesn't actually make it go faster, so I have learned.
