"Gamecube2? - new name please!"

I have recently read in a couple of magazines that The Big 'N' are planning to release their next console in 2005 along with the next Gameboy. This is great news for all Nintendo fans. I believe that each new console should be given a new name (not just have a number stuck on the end of it.eg. PS2). I think the name of a console is very important as it will go down in the history of consoles. Sony and Microsoft are also planning to release their next consoles around 2005 with the names "PS3" and "Xbox2" (how original), I think the name "Gamecube" is great but the name "Gamecube2" for the next big console, im not so sure. Anyway, thats my opinion, what do you think? Got any suggestions for new names?

I still can't believe all the fools who thought the GameCube was gonna be called the Starcube. Not once did Nintendo mention that name.

Gave me great pleasure in saying 'I told you so!' when Nintendo announced the name 'GameCube' :D

Now Chimera is a good name! I like that alot. But I thought it was some kind of dragon not a wolf. Anyway, if Nintendo did choose "chimera" they would come up with a great looking logo. Afterall most people remember the logo as much as the name. Ilike the current logo for the Gamecube.

If they want to use animals as game consoles, why not use CHIMERA the mythical 3-headed wolf.

Either one has potential. See it's better to not have the word GAME in it all the time.
