Dunno about him but I have plenty to say about it matey. Chipped disks ? Where the hell did you come up with that ? Bad sound quality compared to the other consoles ?? Now your just plain clueless.
The "chipped disks" news, or should we say SCRATCHED disks news was something that happened in Japan with 1%, thats right 1% of X-Box's. A lot smaller a problem then what Sony had with plenty of dodgey PS2's. Not only this, but these scratches didn't even effect the games. The scratches were on the edges where no game info is stored so they were still perfectly playable.
As for the "crap" sound, the X-Box is capable of of copying your favourite music tracks on its hard drive and playing them back perfectly. This "crap" sound can also be played in Dolby digital 5.1.
Everyone you know doesn't like Halo ? Well you don't know too many people then mate cause its won awards including game of the year and its only taken a short time for its sales to go over the million mark.
As for the controller, I and just about every other owner of an X-Box find it perfectly comfatable - especially on Halo. I find the space between the analogues really helps the controls. For me, found the PS2 controllers analogues too close together when it came to FPS games.
As for Japan ? Big deal, if they want to be hostile towards an excellent console because its from the West then thats their problem. X-Box has sold enough units in the U.S to make it a success to the point where the sales in Japan really don't matter all that much. Even without Japanese sales, the X-Box is definatly not short of support when it comes to games.

You lot are mad I tells ya! There is no need for anyone to be slagging off ANY games console. They all have their place.
XBox has its Halo, JSRF and Unreal Championship.
Ps2 has its GTA3, MGS2 and VF4 (for the time being at least).
The cube has Rogue Leader 2, Resident Evil Rebirth and Star Fox Adventures.
All 9 of the games listed above are of AAA quality and I would love to play them all. However, I ended up choosing to import a gamecube, basically because as well as the 5 or 6 killer titles that ALL consoles have it had the minor games that I will enjoy more than the likes of Project Gotham and Amped. But then others will enjoy those filler titles more.
I'm sure the where the gamecube controller is excellent for the likes of Pikmin, Luigis Mansion and Wave Rave, The XBox is just as good for Halo and vice versa.
At the end of the day we are not all the same. These arguments are pointless. If we were to all agree on the best and worst then we would just be one giant flock of sheep wouldn't we? Nobody wants that so lets all grow up and enjoy our consoles. Far more serious issues in the world.
