I have worked out though that you haven't played Halo.
How can you say a game is rubbish if you haven't played it?
As for the disk scratch thing, Sony had ages to sort the PS2 out, but thousands of people had faulty consoles at launch.
Also, millions of people think that PS2 and GC games are crap. Do you see me oging into the Sony forum and starting a thread like:
Ps2 is crap!
No, because I'm a grown up, unlike you.
At the end of the day, is anyone forcing you to buy the Xbox? Nope.
I wanted one so I bought one.
Why do you have such and issue with the Xbox? Are you just jealous beacue you can't afford one or something?
Maybe you should try playing on the console before you say you don't like it. And I don't mean 5 mins on a pod in a shop. Go have a proper play on it.
Until you do that I have nothing more to add to this argument. I'm happy with my decision to buy one, it's you that seems to have an issue.

As for PS2 winning elsewhere - it bloody well should be, its had a 2 year head start you dumb git.
Anyway, now the price drop has come I'm sure the competition has commenced cacking their pants. Especially Nintendo with them only really having the price difference as a reason to buy GC over an X-Box. Some will start screaming about the games, but if I want to play the games, I can play most of them, including games that aren't even out on the GC for awhile by buying an N64.
