In an attempt to make my life more exciting than it already is... challenge enough there... I've started to learn how to scuba dive. You know, with the air cylinders and masks and stuff.

It's a lot more fun than I first imagined. Bit scared at first, breathing underwater... but it's pretty damn cool.

It'll also be cool to say "I'm a qualified sports diver" too.

So come on you sad bunch, take something up. Never too late to learn anything.

Or if you have... what are you learning at the moment?

Well, at least by asking them you'll know where you stand. Go on, ask them if you're allowed to, you'll get no-where just thinking about it.

Used to do remote control car racing for about 2 years and then suddenly packed it up. I used to have 2 cars, one called a Mardave (a car for beginners) and then moved into the big league and bought myself a Kyosho 4WD Ford Focus WRC (cost about £150). I then proceeded to spend £300 buying new parts and tweaking it into a beast.
I'd always wanted to see how fast she could go so, one day, I got my Dad to drive down the road in the car and I controlled my car by the side of his. He kept accelerating, waiting for the point when my car could no longer keep up.
However, this point never came, as at around 200m away from me, the car lost the transmitter signal and lost control. The car swerved about the road before swininging in right under my the back-right wheel of my Dad's car. Dad said he was doing abvout 37mph at the time.
Although I was obviously upset that one of my most expensive possesions was in several billion pieces, the worst thing is that I'll never know just how fast she could've gone!

I need a new hobby. Sitting at my computer, posting messages for you guys to read all day ain't no life. :)

I'm starting Ju jitsu next wednesday and me and my friends (two of which are black belt/sensei in ju jitsu) are going to start learning kung fu :). Fencing looks really cool, I wanna do that as well.

I took up fencing about 15 months ago, when I started Uni. It's pretty cool. I'm captain of the mens team now.

In fact, I have to be off training at 8, so I'd better get my stuff together.

To be honest, I didn't exactly shop around. I live in Pembrokeshire, I don't often get choices. :0)

Still, the waterlife around here is supposed to be the best in Britain... it may not be the best though, because a few years back we had the Sea Empress disaster thingy, which you might of heard of... loads of oil spilt, basically.

"So what did you think of the last candidate for the job?"
"Fine, he had good credentials, but I was a bit worried by the giant manta ray he threw on the desk during the interview."
