"Things to make and stuff to do"

In an attempt to make my life more exciting than it already is... challenge enough there... I've started to learn how to scuba dive. You know, with the air cylinders and masks and stuff.

It's a lot more fun than I first imagined. Bit scared at first, breathing underwater... but it's pretty damn cool.

It'll also be cool to say "I'm a qualified sports diver" too.

So come on you sad bunch, take something up. Never too late to learn anything.

Or if you have... what are you learning at the moment?

Inspiration usually hits me when I really should be doing something else. School work, usually. My maths stuff are covered in diagrams and sketches.

hm. Work and gaming take up most of my time, along with home improvements (visions of big power tools and flying sawdust!) but the thing I've been meaning to do for a long time is actually sit down and start a novel. Properly.

Of course, you've got to wait for the inspiration to strike. When it does, you'll be hearing less of me for a while, but if I ever got published you'd be the first to know!

Teachers are petty souls, really. Please them from now till then, and they'll be over the moon with you.

I know that I won't get good reports in History and PE.In PE I know that the evil crow that's given me a school detention will give me a D or E this year.

Well I kinda suppose you could use that as something to aim for then, couldn't you? It's nice to have something stuck in the back of your mind that could help you to work harder at something. Helps me, anyway.

Nah, it's shooting at targets, there's a school compo for it, the winners go somewhere and take part in a national compo.

I'll try it at the end of the year when I get my school report,if it's good (and there's hardly any chance of that with my long line of detentions and my unfortunate ways of annoying teachers by accident) then there's a chance I'll get it.If it's bad then I'll try when our school has a parents evening,I won't stand a chance in that either.
