There's a banner with an Xbox on it.

There's also a controller on this banner.

What's the green thing in the middle of the controller?

Does it serve a purpose, or does it just sit there being green?

It is recommended to have a 5, 10 min break after every solid hour of use according to the manual, so you just screw the green thing off, use it in a game of Frisbee and the just screw it back on and carry on playing.

the thing on the Xbox has been described as a "jewel" but its just a green sticker.

can you people STOP haveing a go at each other about spelling mistakes becuase it is stopping us having out conversation about THE BIG GREEN THING.........

The green thing is there to make the controller look good and probably will have some sort of use in the future as a sticker to rip off the controller and stick on your science book, wouldnt that be great???

It's a shame though that Microsoft didnt use the space and make a circular Memory card with a fancy little screen like the Dc. I mean they nick Sega's ideas for a controller but dont use the best parts...

Actually, the green "eye" is all part of MS's new Big Brother network.

Now MS can not only monitor your software usage, but also your expressions, tones, and even hear what you're saying.

All part of MS's one-world (corporation) ideal.
