I thought the Xbox had "the most powerfull graphics chip on the planet" if it does then it doesn't show it. Dead or Alive 3 looks proper mint but The gamecube graphics look alot more realistic and how can i put it "gamey". Resident Evil looks stunning with the flamethrower, water and all that and those parts are NOT pre-rendered but From what I've seen of the Xbox there's nothing there that my PC can't do!!
Am I the only one who thinks this??

errrr... do you have a clue what you're on about???
The Xbox is as easy, if not easier than the GC. One thing is for sure- both GC and Xbox are "easy" to make games for, while the PS2 is the modern day version of a Sega Saturn when it comes to programming...
Sony decided to use "revolutionary" architecture that is actually designed for games playing and not just PC based...
Which isn't as good as it sounds. Game just cost more to make, take longer to develop, and seeing as the Xbox and GC are more powerful it doesn't make the PS2 any better than the oposition on the hardware front

Turbo, you make the point that the Xbox is based on PC architecture, which, as you said, is not made for playing games. BUT it isn't much worse than using another type of architecture that has been designed for gaming.
After all, the Dreamcast was TOTALLY PC BASED(!), and it was by no means miles behind the PS2 when you take into account the Dreamcast had chips 2 years older than the PS2's.
Getting back to the topic at hand, SOME Xbox games will look less good than Gamecube games... just as there are some PS2 games that don't exactly utilise every aspect of the machine, and thus look worse than DC games.
Anyway, after hearing about how good the 16 player (4 consoles linked up) on the Xbox is, I have to buy one... or 4 even... and 3 more tvs... and 15 friends....

So give it time before you try to compare them.

Oh yes, of course, because it looks pretty it's obviously going to be a good game.
> yep, thats why it has windows internet like the dreamcast then?
You obviously have no idea what I'm talking about.
> xbox has to run windows in the background, gamecube does not.
No, it doesn't...
