Well Well then it appears that Splinter Cell the so called Xbox exclusive was infact a multi platform game from the very beginning and infact the developers actually wanted to make sure they could achieve the same level of detail on the PS2 and GC games otherwise they would have never have started the project.

Infact the PS2 version has extras, that are geared more towards the PS2 user as they demand more and have higher skill level, not my words but the actual developers comments.

Then again I can imagine that it's a hard game for Xbox users because of their poorly designed controllers.

I suppose Sony get it perfect first time. Which is why, afterall, they released the new improved PS1 controller with analogue sticks a while after releasing the first controller.

But then, at least Microsoft made an effort with their controller. Much better than simply colouring the previous console's controller black.

Maddmum I would like to see you try and fit GTA VC, GT and MGS2 on one GC disc go on I dare you. MGS substance is not coming out on GC because it won't fit on the one disc and Konami have refused to pay the extra it costs in tooling and print to produced the game over two discs and they are not the only company that have done that.

At least they're durable, I keep excellent care of all my controllers, and already my PS2's contoller (GOt for CHristmas 2001) isn't functioning at optimum performance.

Then again if MS had got it correct in the first place there would be no need for the controller S. Does the S stand for Sega after all the original Xbox controller was nothing more than a DC controller with a few extra poorly place buttons.

But, you don't actually NEED that much space on the disks. YOu look at almost all of the formatted are on a PS2 disk and it's harldy ever more than a quarter of the area on the disk. Plus, you need to change disk, big WOW. YYOu had four disks for FInal Fantasy on the PS1, no-one really complained, did they?

And extending that argument, how does it feel to own a console with a processing power well in excess of your own?

Lets face it the only way you would get any extra features let alone the 30mins extra intro sequence on that pathetic GC disc is by spreading it across two discs. For the dump among you namely Whitestripes 1.5gig is a lot less than 4.25gig.
