Thanks to the lovely boot disc (which is rapidly becoming my favourite possession!) I loaded up this for the first time today. The first FF game I've seen playing at full speed on a full screen ;-) Can't wait to get stuck into it again to see the whole thing in the correct proportions!

I also got a Japanese copy of Tekken Tag for £8, so I can now enjoy Tekken at full speed too. Although that will all be meaningless by the end of next month... SOUL CALIBUR! Woohoo!

huh, I thought Final Fantasy X : International was the same as the version that got released in europe. With the dark Aeons added. They weren't in the original US and Jap releases. I could be wrong though. I do know that there are two other bits of FMV floating around that explain the ending more, maybe one of them comes from the end of FFX:I.

This is what I found on the web, but it sounds like a rumour:

"(apparently in the Final Fantasy X International version, the ending was extended to better explain the final scene)"

I won't know until I've played it right through I guess.

But the guy who's selling it on eBay mentions an extended story for Yuna.

No, the story is the same. There are additional features over the original Japanese version, and the American one, although I don't know if they were in the European one (because ours was so late in getting released they may have stuck them in). It says on the back of the box that there are newly added abilities and a new boss, Penance. If Penance was in the PAL version (I ain't seen him) then the only differences are probably the speed and the non-squashed screen.

Heh, and Herc couldn't even afford the $17.99 dollar version. No matter, your chipped PS2 seems okay right now. DW, am I right in saying that FFX International is FFX with extra bits to the story?

I dunno about Suikoden III, but I would be surprised if it didn't work. You know that's almost out of print in the US though? eBay prices are getting silly!

OK, here's where I got FFX (worked out at under £30 including shipping, and the guy is sound)

Herc, I've only seen the discs around 20 quid in this country. $17.99 is good depending on shipping. Remember you need the EUR version!
