Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The XBOX forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest XBOX game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

yeh it i think i am going to wait 4 or 5 months maybe less depends on how things go on the sales wise. The one thing that attracted me to the xbox was halo i love games like that. And am not sure if the gamecubes gettin any like it i would probably go for a gc if there was no halo on the xbox. Do you no if there is goin to be a perfect dark 2 on the gc? We can push the posts up if we talk like this for a ages.

I tried to increase the posts, but I got warned of spamming from a Staff Member :-(

If I was you, and you're only getting one console then I would *gasp* hang on a bit until you commit yourself to an X-Box. Not that I want to turn away a sale or anything, but if you want a safe bet; go for a PS2, then a GC.

These two consoles each have companys behind them with a firm foothold in the industry already. On the other hand, I have a feeling that this launch utopia for the GC may be about to be cut short: this is where Ninty withdraw all backing from Europe, and pump mega-bucks into Japan.

Though X-Box has got some amazing games coming out in the next few months... If I was in your position I'd wait, think about it, then buy a big black box :-)

I think we need to make this thread bigger so it will attract more people and spread the word about xbox.I really want to get one but feel pressuered because of the sales.

I guess that with X-Box you either love it or loathe it. Or can't decide. Wait a minute... :-P

As for me I love the little beast - games, controller and features (most notably the MP3 ripping ability). PS2 is okay, as it has a huge database of games, and GC has some quality titles, but it's the overall package of the X-Box that appeals most to me.

Wookie seams to be the only person that isn't satisfied with his Xbox.

He must be hard to please as i'm still feeling stunned every time I play Halo!

Hmmm, but I hated the DC pad! I guess it could just be because I prefer the X-Box's games, so that's why I perservered with it.

Not saying that I sold my DC straight away - like Wookie's thinking about his X-Box -, I didn't even have one :-P

I like the controller. I can't understand when people say it's too big and all that grumble. It's fine - very similar to the DC's pad.

Talking about the controller down the page I have to say that I love it. I suppose I have pretty large hands, and the density also feels like it won't fall apart when that massive rumble feature kicks in.

I don't think I would get a smaller controller, I'd rather have four of the big mothers infront of my angel... erm, X-Box ;-)
