Why am I trying it out anyway?
The XBOX forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest XBOX game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

I remember when the Dreamcast was released they mentioned the Xbox in GamesMaster magazine - Microsoft had announced it a heck of a long time ago - and only released it 2002.

MS aren't stupid. That is why it will live as long as possible. Sony managed to get a good 7 years out of the PS. Just short of 4 years now for the PS2.

I'd rather they squeezed every little ounce of use out of the existing xbox first, when the megadrive and SNES were about, developers really pushed the consoles to their limits, same with the N64 and it's 'expansion pak' games.
I don't want this to end up like the PC market where new systems are released every 5 minutes, it gets rather expensive.
