Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The XBOX forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest XBOX game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Heh, not that much I think. Depends on the game though. I have a couple of games that use over a hundred blocks. And one that uses about 8.

My mate has 4 CDs and about 10 different games saved on his hard drive and it still shows up as 50,000+ blocks.

The hard drive is a stroke of genius though. 1000 memory cards built in as it were.

Good point NB, bit like the PS2 memory card then. Wasn't too sure how much data actually is used up in the save of an x-box game. Was expecting it to be fairly large but sounds like it should cope.

I thought PGR was brilliant and that there was little that could be improved upon.

But PGR2 was just so much better. It really is astounding. Anyone who enjoys racing games can't help but love it.

As for the memory card, I am actually going to get one. Two reasons why: for saving your profiles if you ever take it to a mate's house. Nothing more irritating than not being able to access all your top cars. And secondly because should the worst happen and I ever need to send my Xbox away for repair, I'd copy my saves from the hard drive first in case they decided to wipe it. They replaced Borat's hard drive when he had his Xbox repaired. Admittedly 8 Mb might not be enough, but I could dump the files on a friends Xbox and just use if for carrying between them.

That is a worst case scenario thing though. Rather safe than sorry mind.

they had a competion to see who could do the set challenges:

£500 get on telly with OPS2 mag, chage your name to a videogame name, paint car pet freind with OPS2 logo

ect but the best was yet to come oh YES! mwhahaha

make a anti-xbox campain and get £300
destroy a real xbox to get £200

anyway some xbox's where smashed some were burnt
many made campains in game stores etc

oh well i guess somebody is gonna have something to say about that

but do xbox make competions like that about PS2?

Hi matey

Yeah my mate keeps going on about PGR2 and how great it is, I've played PGR when he first got his x-box, good game but I've heard that PGR2 is far superior.

Well seeing as the SR deal includes the memory card it looks like I'll have to get it with it :)

Thanks for the feedback.

Hi Mark, nice to see you here, I got an Xbox last week and the only game I have so far is .... PGR2. you don't need a memory card, all game info is saved on the hard drive.

PGR2 is great on Live, wish I'd got an Xbox last year.

*looks around for life*

Ahem....ok, never been in here before but I've got a quick question.

Been seriously thinking about getting an X-Box soon, just looked at the SR packages and there's one for £129.99 incl PGR2 [which is the only reason I want an X-Box] and an 8mb memory card.

Question, do you really need the 8mb memory card?
