I have an electric guitar, but have never learned to play it well. I couldnt teach myself, nor afford/have time for the lessons.

Ah, I didn't think they were that expensive?
Anyway, because of this thread I got ours out last night, and played Yankee Doodle and Row Your Boat. I hadn't quite got the timing, but all the notes were in the right order!
I hadn't played for well over 10 years and I couldn't remember anything. I shall persevere until I can play the Godfather perfectly.
