It's the most fun I've had in a FPS. The single player is huge, and there's just no beating the multiplayer. Not average in any respect.
I think TS2 is a good game, but average when compared to other FPS games. Its certainly no god of FPS in my opinion as some would make it out to be. Theres plenty to do, but I don't think it has the same fun facter or natural feel to it that games like Halo have.
One thing I really don't like is the aiming system.

They are all good ? No way, and here's why I think that;
They are all good at certain things, but none of them do everything as good as the others. Here's an example, I want to play online, right now. Xbox is the only one that does that. I want to play Nintendo games. Gamecube is the only one. GTA games ? PS2.
They are not all just as good.

There are loads of people who proberly two or even all three consoles so who cares.
Ps2 as it's fans and as good games although I admit it as plenty of crap ones also.
Gamecube isn't as popular but there are many who are happy with the way Nintendo make their games.
Microsoft is the newbie of the console world with it's Xbox that as some good looking games and harddrive.
My point?

Anyone who disagrees is obviously a fanboy and not a genaral lover of games.

yes although i know stereo typing is wrong and round here it's hard not to as it's sadly true in most cases.
