hi. i've been waiting for this one for a while. i love the series and i love girls that kick a$s like Max and Buffy (not including Lara because she only kicks a$s in the film, in the games she just shoots people). i just downloaded the trailer for it and it looks really sweet. only came out on the 22nd. i'll have to dip into my ICA, mainly because i bought some dudey DG trainers a couple of days ago but i believe it'll be worth it.

anyone got this yet???

Nah, Tomb Raider was crap after the first one, and thats because after the first game the license became Lara Croft and not the game itself. First game was good but every game after that was essentially the same with new graphics tagged on.

By your replies I'm wondering why you feel a simple game is such a danger to your morals and why you feel the need to act all "holier than thou" about it. It's selling the Xbox in Japan, so thats one task done for it. When Edge, a magazine known for not pulling any punches, says it's a good GAME then I feel more inclined to agree with them than you, who say it is a bad game simply because of the graphics, I think the average Xbox owner is mature enough to realise they are just graphics. I'm thinking that you've mistaken this for a Nintendo forum, whose young users get all sweaty over BMX XXX on their little purple building block.......

There are 2 things that make me really want DOA:XBV. One is that its more of a relaxing game, so it offers something different to the usual mad paced and mission based games we're used to.
Its the 2 week holiday of games where you can just mess around doing stuff like play volleyball (obviously), visit the casino, play little mini games and buy stuff with money you earn.
Secondly, its one of few games around at the moment that really shows what the X-Box can do. With so many lazy ports, its nice to see a few games that really show the power of the X-Box.

Of course the breasts are huge, but I'd love to see a list of how many female games characters that don't have that feature. Plus its Japanese and you don't have to look further than the Anime/Manga stuff to know how much they love the exaggerated norks.

I've got no problem in real women in skimpy clothes, no problem what so ever. Infact i think porn should become part of the national curriculum.

I've watched a couple of trailers for Dead or Alive: Extreme Volleyball. They showed absloutly none of the game all it was, was a load of computer generated tarts with little to no clothes on touching themselves and lieing down showing off their stupidly large breasts. It's sad, there's no way around it, if you wanna continue sticking up for this pathetic game then that's up to you. There's nothing wrong with gratutious cleavage showage in real life, but these are a load of computer generated FMV models, it's laugh out loud damn funny that this kind of stuff appeals to people.

By your replys I'm guessing you where one of the first in line to oagle Lara Crofts assets everytime a new Tomb Raider was released.

Having girls in a game is one thing but the depraived videos of the stupidly endowed computer tarts that i've seen are just hilariously embarassing.

I don't care how it plays (I'm sure the majority of people who buy it don't either) it takes the geekyness of goggling over Lara Croft to the next level and comes out looking just as bad as BMX XXX.
