Ok people i don't know if theres all ready one of these but here it goes. This thread will be used to talk about DMC and DMC only anything, If you just want to say how kool Dante is or ask for tips on a mission your stuck on. Just post things to do with DMC

Damn!!!!! That Nelo Angelo guy is really p***ing me off, its now more than one week since I have been stuck on mission 4 on hard mode just because of him. A few minutes ago I got his life bar to red three times, twice using a vital star and once without, he is just too damn hard but I'm getting better at beating him. Inferno reduces his life bar quite quickly.
I just realised you can see what ranks you've got so far at any point (this might just be in hard mode).
Anyway, I've got an idea - let's see who can get the best ranks all the way through. Once you complete it post all your ranks (e.g S=3 A=9 B=6 or whatever, however many of each rank you got) and the difficulty setting you did it on. Probably won't work, but I'd like to try it anyway.

I was going to go complete again in Normal but i think ill go for Hard Mode now so i can get Sparda and have a go at Dante Must Die mode

As far as I am aware,
Complete hard - you get 'Dante must die!' mode, and Sparda as an extra charactor
Complete Dante must die! - You get infinite devil trigger (Super Dante I think).
I don't know for sure, but I don't think it will differ from doing it all with Sparda.

as ive sed before this game took me just over 3 hours on normal and i got most of the extra moves with &k orbs to spare

200th post in this thread, it actually grown faster than the final fantasy forum yet its only about one game not a whole series.
When you play as Sparda do you get a different ending and can you access Sparda ( the sword ) devil trigger any time during the game and not only when you get to the legendary battle mission?
