As you can see, transparency doesn't work for GIFs either, and nor do animated GIFs.

Bob, I didn't get your avatar upload come through properly for approval. We may have an issue with transparent .png's then.

Can't browsers enforce scroll bars? :\ That's lame.
And judging from my pending avatar preview, seems transparency is broken on pngs.

There is actually a slight glitch in the code that seems to be inadvertently affecting scroll-bars on Safari (Mac only, as far as we can tell).

Sorry for any inconvenience, we're looking into it.

Well I can't understand why Freeola would do this, and it is possible to remove scrollbars from pages in the source code of the webpage.

I can't understand why Freeola would do this, and it doesn't look like they have, but maybe they've got a script in the code which stops the scrollbars appearing if the browser name is Safari. :o)

I think the novelty of an avatar will wear off pretty quickly. I'll probably get bored of it soon.
