How about an admin option to display post counts or not. I don't really see any point to them. (although I think Chaos said he loves it). It would slim down the posts if you get rid of it. And I'm all for saving room on my screen.

Me too! I like the new layout of the forums but it definitely needs an option where you can customise your view by turning on / off avatars and sigs if they're introduced.
At the minute thats the case so I'm more than happy with the new look as even if only a 1 word reply is posted it only takes up about 1 1/2 inches of the screen and there's no searching for the next post.

I dont see the problem with signatures as long as theres the option to turn them off.
Signitures are nearly always awful on forums, I'm sure I've seen one or two sites where they look good though.
Yeah I hate signatures.
