Just wondering if anyone's getting and planning to use a 56k modem to play?

If you is let me know how it runs.

Apparently a certain other site has recieved shipment of the BB and modem adaptors so I'm guessing it'll be all up and running by tommorow.

The Adventure genre is a hybrid of RPG, Action and to a lesser extent, Platforming. Therefore by saying it’s a bit of Adventure and some RPG elements would be saying it was:

(Adventure + RPG) + RPG, which would give you a game comprised of Adventure + RPG + RPG[squared]

Which it blatantly isn’t, given that it has minimal RPG-ness about it.

Ergo, it’s an Adventure.

I've always considered Zelda an RPG with Action/Adventure mixed in.

This is silly, Zelda is an RPG that is also an adventure game and it has action in it so it is also an action game.

Is that so hard to understand?! (this is pointed to WS)

heh, that example of copying what I said and changing one or two words to suit him shows a very low sense of maturity...

I haven't once disagreed that the Zelda games are also Adventure games. As you said, Nintendo (of UK anyway) catagorise the Zelda games as Action/Adventure games.

Who says a game can't be multi-genre?

It's not me who has the problem, it seems to be you (and a few others who don't understand what multi-genre means).

Look Edgy, just because you tell me otherwise, it wont stop me talking about The Legend of Zelda games as Adventures, which they are.

If you feel that strongly against that, then good for you. Just don't think you're going to change my mind anytime this millenium.

Look Whitestripes, just because you tell me and many others on here otherwise, it wont stop me talking about The Legend of Zelda games as RPGs.

If you feel that strongly against that, then good for you. Just don't think you're going to change my mind anytime this millenium.
