Apparently a certain other site has recieved shipment of the BB and modem adaptors so I'm guessing it'll be all up and running by tommorow.

Nope.
PSO Is really mainly playable for Online, But Gamecube version has tried to Enchance the Offline play with split screen but still its boring over a length of time.
