Because it helps to know the names of buildings before you blow them up.

Also if you can't read a map, then, you know...

After much pondering, I think you mean Tudor times :¬) (Couldn't see a relationship with tutor times at all.)

As it doesn't appear to have been asked previously ... are you meant to be attending school at the moment? If so, why aren't you there now?

Unsustainable educational system. Worsening post-education employment rates. Get the feeling that adults do not really know what's best for them either[/i]

Despite what you think, some knowledge is retained and despite the government's best efforts, kids leaving school still manage to get into University (requiring good qualifications to do so) and work.

The worsening employment prospects are simply down to economic issues and outsourcing rather than looking after business at home.

In the last few decades the whole idea of being lazy and feeling that the world owes them everything for free has sadly crept in to the Zeitgeist of the youth. Just look at the people camping out complaining about taxes and whatnot, do they think they are really doing something to change this by being in a tent? No. They should study, go and get a job in a prominent position (or work up to it) and be instrumental in instigating the change.

Study is the key and it all starts at school, whether you like it or not.
